Hi, I’m Joanne —
someone who’s always found it easier to dive into projects than to introduce herself.

I trained as an architect, became a fashion designer with a hobby turned business, and picked up programming out of curiosity and a passion. Somewhere along the way, I found myself moving between entrepreneurship, teaching, consultancy, curation, and research.

My work spans scales — from material innovation to city planning, from handcrafted objects to data visualizations.

This site brings together a selection of projects I’ve explored with my partners at Vanina and Ibdå, and with colleagues and students at DIDI, AUB, and Columbia University.
